Widow of Late Abdul sattar Edhi Ms Bilquis Edhi will visit Norway shortly. Late Edhi was a Pakistani philanthropist, ascetic, and humanitarian who founded the Edhi Foundation, which runs the world’s largest volunteer ambulance network,along with homeless shelters, rehab centres, and orphanages across Pakistan. Her son Faisal Edhi will also be accompanying Ms Edhi while travelling to Oslo, the Norwegian capital. Both have been invited by Pakistan Union Norway headed by its Chairman Ch Qamar Iqbal. They will be chief guests in a huge gathering in connection with Pakistan National Day on 19th Aug.
