Oslo (News Desk) — A strong protest demonstration was held outside the Indian Embassy in Oslo, the Norway’s capital on night between Tuesday and Wednesday against India’s military aggression targeting Pakistan and Azad Kashmir’s territories. Protesters condemned India’s attacks on Azad Kashmir and several regions of Pakistan, demanding immediate action from the international community, particularly the United Nations.
Ch. Rafaqa Tahir of Tehrik-e-Kashmir Norway was among the speakers of the protect who condemned the attack on Pakistan and atrocities committed by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.
Chanting slogans such as “India is pushing the region towards war and Down with Modi,” demonstrators accused New Delhi of violating international laws. They urged the UN and global powers to take strict notice of India’s provocations and prevent further escalation.
The protesters warned that India’s reckless actions threaten regional peace and called for diplomatic intervention to de-escalate tensions.
Norwegian Pakistanis will also hold a larger protest in the capital Oslo on upcoming Indian Prime Minister visit to Norway.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Oslo on May 15-16 to attend the 3rd India-Nordic Summit.
