Pakistani Exchange students visit Norwegian TV2 Headquarters in Oslo

Two exchange students of mass communication from Pakistan have visited Oslo’s headquarters of Norwegian TV2, the largest commercial TV channel of the country Thursday.

Both students namely Haseeb Shahid and Saqib Saleem are currently studying under an exchange program at Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet). Haseeb, who is basically student of bachelors in Media and Mass at Beconhouse National University in Lahore, is also a freelance journalist. Saqib Saleem, who is a Mphill student on the exchange program at OsloMe is primary an assistant professor at Forman Christian College University (FCCU)Lahore.

During their visit to the Headquarters of TV2, they were hosted by well-recognized investigative journalist Kadaffi Zamaan of the television. The Norway’s born senior journalist, who is from Pakistani origin showed the Pakistani students of journalism the working procedures as well as division of different departments in this media organization.

Role of media in progress of different sectors including politics in Pakistan and Norway were also comparatively discussed during the visit. 

During their visit, the students also met some senior staff of the TV including its anchor persons.
