A Norwegian Pakistani footballer Ghayas Zahid to take part in Champions League

The 22- year old Ghayas Zahid, 22 has signed a four-year contract with the Cypriot football club Apoel FC in order to take part in the international matches including Champions League (CL) on behalf of the club.

APOEL FC is a famous professional football club based in Nicosia, Cyprus. APOEL is the most popular football team in Cyprus and so far, they are the most successful with an overall tally of 26 championships, 21 cups and 13 super cups.

The Champions League is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations and contested by top-division European clubs.

Zahid told a Norwegian Newspaper that he is reach to take part in six upcoming matches under the CL. “It will be an exciting challenge, “Zahid said.

Zahid who is basically from Mortensrud locality in Oslo said, he will participate in the matching other many other famous teams including Real Madrid in the CL.

He who has so far played 128 matches and scored 38 goals for his club expressed hope for this future.
